Sara Dillon, CRNP, is a certified primary care pediatric nurse practitioner with additional certification as a primary care mental health specialist. She sees patients at Set Apart Pediatrics located in Decatur, Alabama.
Sara is ADOS-2 trained (Autism screening ) with several years of experience in the diagnosis and treatment of pediatric mental health and neurodevelopmental disorders. She started her career as a nurse at Children’s National Medical Center in Washington, DC, where she completed a yearlong pediatric nursing internship in neonatal intensive care.
Sara completed her post-master’s certificate for pediatric nurse practitioner at Purdue University (Boiler up! Don’t hold it against her) in 2012.
Sara and her husband, Tony, have four adult children, two grandchildren, and two dogs, Jake and Ollie. She enjoys being healthy, hiking, and learning new things.
